Sports News Headlines:

Yankees Pitcher Hit With Line Drive

New York Yankees pitcher Anthony Misiewicz gave his teammates as well as anyone else watching last night’s game a big scare when he was hit by a line drive in the head by  Ji Hwan Bae of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Coming in to relive New York Yankees CY Young candidate Gerrit Cole, Anthony Misiewicz was knocked to the ground in what looked like a very serious accident. Thankfully Anthony Misiewicz was able to walk off the field. He was sent to the hospital for further evaluation.

Minnesota Vikings Star Makes Statement About Loss

Things aren’t looking good for the Minnesota Vikings. They haven’t gotten off to a good start in the postseason. They are currently 0-2 in the postseason. The Vikings weren’t expected to do as well as they did last season. The team released several players during the off season. Some analysts thought last year’s success was a fluke. If that wasn’t enough, the team struggled to take care of the football. They turned the ball over multiple times in their last two games. Wide receiver Justin Jefferson blamed himself for costing the team their momentum when he fumbled the ball before half-time during their game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Justin Jefferson let his team know that the mistake was his and it wouldn’t happen again. According to the Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell, no one is as torn up about the defeat as Justin Jefferson. He believes Justin Jefferson is doing whatever he can to win because he cares about it the most. Kevin O’Connell thinks Justin Jefferson’s fumble was unfortunate at the time because the team had a chance to get the lead before half-time. Justin Jefferson had big numbers in the games so he did what he could to help the team.

Tension Between Philadelphia Eagles Players

The Philadelphia Eagles may be one of the best teams in the league right now. They were in the Super Bowl and have talented players on the team. They may have beaten the New England Patriots and the Minnesota Vikings, but they don’t look as good as they used to look. The team has lost two of their assistants Jonathan Gannon and Shane Steichen so it might take a while before everybody is on the same page with each other. The real drama takes place in the locker room. Quarterback Jalen Hurts and wide receiver A.J. Brown had to be separated because they were in a heated battle on the sidelines.

They tried to sweep their tension under the rug. According to Jalen Hurts, everyone wants to make plays and contribute to the team. He isn’t worried about A.J. Brown. He considers him a great player, teammate, and friend. The players will do anything and everything to win their games. The Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said the conversations they have on and off the field will be private. A.J. Brown may have a reason to be frustrated. He hasn’t been involved in the passing game the way he was last season since DeVonta Smith took over as the team’s top-tier wide receiver.
