Green Bay Packers’ Players Sit Out Practice

The Green Bay Packers’ injured list is growing. Two of the team’s players couldn’t practice for two straight games. Running back Aaron Jones and wide receiver Christian Watson didn’t make it to practice because of their hamstring injuries. Aaron Jones got injured at the end of his 35-yard touchdown catch in a game against the Chicago Bears. Aaron Jones ended his game with nine carries for 41 yards. He had two receptions for 86 yards and a touchdown. If Aaron Jones can’t play, running back A.J. Dillon is likely to take his place when the Packers play the Atlanta Falcons. Christian Watson didn’t play in the season opener because of his injury. He was supposed to rest once a week.

Boston Red Sox Fires Member Of The Team

The Boston Red Sox’s roster has gotten a little lighter lately. Chief baseball officer Chaim Bloom was let go by the Boston Red Sox. He was released after 4 up and down seasons. The seasons included a couple of last place finishes. This year is almost guaranteed to end without a playoff berth. Chaim Bloom joined the team after they fired the general manager Dave Dombrowski in September 2019. Chaim Bloom brought something to the team that Dave Dombrowski didn’t. Chaim Bloom was methodical, patient and ready to rebuild the team. They had high hopes that things would change for the team. After he joined the team, there were financial difficulties. Chaim Bloom traded star outfielder Mookie Betts to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The trade affected the team’s game and they suffered with last place finishes in 2021. The Red Sox have lost six of their seven games. Chaim Bloom’s firing shocked a number of officials on the team. Despite the issues the team is having, the officials believe things are looking up for the team. According to owner John Henry, Chaim Bloom had a plan ready to make things right for the team in the future. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to keep him on the team. The decision to fire him wasn’t an easy one. The team’s president Sam Kennedy believes the fans feel the same way the team does about making things better. Their fans deserve to have a winning and competitive team playing in the postseason. The Boston Red Sox have been consistently trying to get better, but it didn’t happen. A change had to be made so they decided to let Chaim Bloom go.

Buffalo Bills Stefon Diggs Responds To Reporter’s Remarks

Buffalo Bills receiver Stefon Diggs responded to reporter Maddy Glab’s remarks about him. Maddy Glab is a Buffalo Bills’ reporter. She insulted the receiver while she was in a room with other journalists. Her comments were picked up on a hot mic. While the reporters were waiting for the Buffalo Bills’ players to arrive, people could be heard on the live microphone. The press conference followed a disappointing loss to the New York Jets. The reporters wondered which one of the players they were going to meet.

A fellow reporter asked Maddy Glab to help bring Stefon Diggs out. She said there was no control over him. She felt he was going to do what he wanted to do. She said that he would look in her face and say derogatory things to her. She feels this is how he treats everyone. She didn’t realize she could be heard over the mic. Maddy Glab apologized for her comments a few hours later. The reporter wanted to take the blame for her comments. She complimented the receiver in her comments.

Stefon Diggs has broken his silence about her comments. Her comments upset him. He called her comments hurtful. Her comments were insulting to his character and the way he was raised. He feels this is why people have a problem with the media. He said it’s hard to beat the feelings people have when they prejudge you. They have those feelings whether you have met them or not. He respects that he had a job to do, but he is human just like her. Stefon Diggs apologized if he ever came off unapproachable. He wants his fans to know that he treats people the way they want to be treated. He is nothing like the way she described. He denied saying anything derogatory towards the reporter.
